These terms apply when you use Calc.Cards (the "site"), a free online calculator service operated by Wilcoe. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

What Calc.Cards is

Calc.Cards is a directory of calculators, articles, and AI-skill files across finance, health, construction, real estate, and other categories. The free calculators are informational tools. The paid AI-skill files, branded calculators, and custom builds are products described on their respective pages.

No professional advice

The calculators and articles on Calc.Cards are educational. They do not constitute financial, medical, legal, tax, engineering, or professional advice. Specifically:

  • Finance, real-estate, and business calculators are informational only and are not financial advice. Consult a licensed financial professional before making decisions.
  • Health, fitness, and pregnancy calculators are not a substitute for medical advice. Consult a qualified healthcare provider for any clinical decision.
  • Construction calculators include suggested overage but are not engineering specifications. Final estimates should be reviewed by a licensed contractor or engineer.
  • Tax-related calculators do not constitute tax advice. Consult a tax professional for your specific situation.

We make every effort to use reliable formulas and authoritative sources, but we do not guarantee accuracy or completeness for any specific use case.

Acceptable use

You may use Calc.Cards freely for personal and commercial purposes. You may not:

  • Scrape the site at high volume or in a way that disrupts service
  • Republish substantial portions of our written content without attribution
  • Reverse-engineer, repackage, or resell the AI-skill files purchased through the marketplace
  • Use the site to violate anyone else's rights or applicable law

Embeds

Embedding Calc.Cards calculators on your own site is allowed and encouraged. The /embed/* pages are designed for this. We ask that you keep the "Powered by Calc.Cards" attribution intact and that you don't modify the calculator's formula or output. Heavy modification, removal of attribution, or rehosting of the underlying logic is not permitted under the embed program; the branded-calculator product is the licensed path for that.

Purchases and refunds

Paid products (AI skill files, category packs, the full library, branded calculators, custom builds) are delivered digitally. Refunds are handled case by case — if a product doesn't work as described, email orders@calc.cards and we'll make it right. Custom builds have separate scope agreements detailed at point of purchase.

Cultural references

Some Calc.Cards calculators reference films, television shows, video games, and other cultural touchstones by name. These are nominative references used to describe what each calculator does. We do not reproduce trademarked logos, brand colors, or copyrighted assets. If you believe a reference is being used incorrectly, contact us at hello@calc.cards.

Intellectual property

The site name, design, articles, and original calculator implementations are the intellectual property of Wilcoe. The AI-skill marketplace files are licensed for individual use. Republication or resale of skill files is not permitted.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wilcoe and its agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, including any decision made based on a calculator's output. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim, if any.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes take effect indicates acceptance of the updated terms.
